Career Paths Vertical

Direct Care

These entry level positions are a gateway to a career at Sarah Reed. With education requirements ranging from a high school diploma/GED equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, these positions are a great way to gain experience in the mental health field.

Pathways

Sarah Reed's diverse service offerings allow staff to pursue different specialities that support the multi-disciplinary treatment we offer our clients and families:

Education

Many of our programs require Pennsylvania certified teachers to provide academic support to students receiving services. With smaller class sizes, our teachers are able to focus on supporting each student's unique educational needs.

Medical

Support clients on the medical side of their treatment in one of our nursing roles. From assessment to service coordination, nurses across the agency provide the necessary medical supports to our clients and families.

Operations

Advancement opportunities are available to staff to support the operations of each program, as well as the entire agency.

Shift leaders provide leadership, act as a positive role model for both the children and staff they, and oversee the overall success of their shifts.

Program support positions assist in day-to-day operations within each program.

Administrative support positions focus on supporting operations of the agency as a whole.

Clinical

Employees who are interested in a clinical pathway have the opportunity to advance to a case management position or obtain a Master's degree and move into a therapist role. These roles are focused on coordinating and providing treatment within our programs.

Supervisors, Directors, and Agency Leadership

We look within to find leaders across the agency to guide, direct, and support the agency mission. In fact, many of our supervisors and directors began their career at Sarah Reed as a direct care staff. With training opportunities, supervision, and a commitment to growth and change, we encourage our employees to develop to their fullest potential.
